Zion Lutheran Preschool

Children ages 2, 3, 4, and 5 are invited to enroll in our preschool. Our curriculum is based in the Lutheran tradition, but no particular religious affiliation is required.

Proverbs 22:6 promises, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” The mission of Zion Lutheran Preschool is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our children and families and to provide quality, relevant education that will prepare children to become life-long learners and successful adults.

What does that mean? ZLPS is a Lutheran preschool. Lutheran beliefs, as understood and taught in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), percolate through all of our classroom life.

How does our mission apply to the students? At ZLPS, each child is treated as a unique child of God. ZLPS respects each child’s individuality and instills in them a positive and healthy self-image.

How do we relate with parents? Our approach at Zion Lutheran Preschool is to aid parents in early childhood rearing. ZLPS works with parents to strengthen and support you in your efforts. We enable children to develop and broaden their experiences within a Christian environment, while preparing children for the transition from home life to a more structured school life.
